Moving Image and Life drawing-Perspective

This weeks task was looking at the idea of different perspectives ands their uses. The first drawing below shows my personal example of a one point illustration This means there is only one vanishing point and therefore the lines recede towards this making the illusion of length and distance. This type of perspective drawing is perfect for flat objects such as fences, roads and rivers swell as roads of structure that point in one direction.  However for my drawing wanted to show a pier in which leads further into sea. I feel this idea was effective for what I was producing as it shows the idea of horizon line and the viewpoint that must sit on it.

The second drawing we had to create was a two point perspective drawing. The idea of this drawing is create an illustration that shows two angles that meet in the middle. This type of drawing is perfect for corners as it is more expansive and also gives the idea that is there is more than one choice and therefore drawing the viewer into the illustration.

Below shows my drawing for the two viewpoints. For this I wanted to focus omn interiors and how it can used to create a different unusual view.I kept to monochrome look to keep to the simplicity however ri wanted to experiment with lots of pattern and line work to see if I could further this illusion. I was happy with this illustration however, I felt the tiles were slightly off perspective3 therefore took away from the drawing however, I was happy with the windows and doors that included as felt they followed the line fo the vanishing work and added to the overall look and purpose of the drawing.
