Final Folded Format and process
The final part of my Visual Application project was to create a folded format inspired by my historical Character, Valentina Tereshkova. For my folded format i wanted to really show the life story of Valentina and how she progressed through life to get to her to her journey to space. Above shows my final illustration panels for the inside of my concertina book, each panel shows Valentina through her life from when she was a child to her moments in space. I wanted each panel to be full of colour and texture so it would attract my targeted audience and draw the reader into my book. I was happy with how each of these illustrations turned out and felt they communicated all the scenes that i wanted to show. I particularly love the launch scene as it has a different format the rest of the images and breaks up using a different composition.
